"I started at VU in 2002 for a PhD program in electrical engineering, concentrating on power system communication and I've achieved a lot in a short period of time. On behalf of the University, Professor Akhtar Kalam has helped me a lot.

I have published many conference papers, attended conferences and some journal papers are on their way. I have won the postgraduate Overall Best Energy Award, organised by the Australian Institute of Energy, whereby 21 students from different universities participated, from all over Australia. And I was very proud to win another two national awards after that.

Victoria University has world-class facilities and qualified and experienced professors who are willing to help with your research. The lecturers are very friendly. On top of that, it provides a training program that helps you to learn how to do your research effectively and efficiently."
